The Lehigh Valley Young Republicans is an organization of students and young professionals that believe in low taxes, free enterprise and limited government who are dedicated to public service and support of repubican candidates and principles for the betterment of our country.
What We Do
The LVYR's are reinvigorated and ready to go in 2010! There are many important elections this year. We want to use this first event as a welcoming party to all, so don't be shy! We also want to discuss the direction the organization should take in this important election year. We have lots of big ideas like possibly sponsoring a gubernatorial debate before the primary in May. Please come out and join us for a night of fun at Rascals on Thursday, January 14, 2010...
On January 19, 2010, there will be a special election in Massachusetts for Ted Kennedy's US Senate seat. Paul Kirk was appointed to take this seat on a temporary basis, and voted for the Senate Health care bill on Christmas Eve.
